Leading to Grow
Leading to grow
The Leading to Grow Programme uses workshops and mentoring support to help business leaders develop the knowledge and skills required for the successful introduction and implementation of digital and new technologies. The programme features:
– A half-day workshop led by small business experts to provide some tools and techniques to help business leaders make the most of digital technologies
– Mentoring to support the planning and implementation of digital technologies
– The development of a network of small business leaders seeking to use technology to improve business performance
The national programme is funded by the Business Basics Fund from the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy and Innovate UK using a random controlled trial to assess the impact of coaching and mentoring on technology adoption. As part of the trial, half the workshop participants will be selected at random to receive one-to-one mentoring support from an experienced Entrepreneur. The impact of the programme on all participating businesses will be evaluated to inform the development of future programmes.
Project duration: November 2019 to August 2020.
Project partners: The project is led by the Chartered Association of Business School and delivered by fifteen accredited Business Schools across the country.
