Applicant Activities - LLB programmes

Applicant Exercises

Given that schools and colleges are closed, that this summer’s exams and assessments have been cancelled, and that some of you may be returning to study after a break from education, we have prepared some legal exercises for you to think about, should you wish to do so. If you would like to send us your answers for feedback, please email them to LawOLT@leedsbeckett.ac.uk - we will then review them and send back some comments. Please rest assured that none of these exercises will impact upon our offer of a place at Leeds Beckett.

Pre-Course Activity One: Law and Human Rights

Pre-Course Activity Two: An Introduction to Criminal Law

Pre-Course Activity Three: The Case of Johnny, the Legalistic Child

All emails sent to LawOLT@leedsbeckett.ac.uk will be read by Dr Nazia Yaqub. Here is a little more about her:

Nazia is an Online Learning Tutor who currently lives in Leeds. Before joining Leeds Beckett, Nazia spent several years in legal practice. She is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales (non-practising) and represented clients in the areas of Prison Law, Crime, Mental Health, Family and Children’s law.
