About Kayleigh Fish
Kayleigh is a lecturer for the Bsc Sport and Exercise Therapy course. She started at Leeds Beckett in 2013 and her key interest is in musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
Kayleigh is currently working on a study that investigates the level of active commuting that takes place and is hoping to extend this to be able to influence behaviour change with an intervention.
Kayleigh teaches on the Professional Practice 2 module, Preparation for Practice module and also in the clinical setting where she facilitates students development of learning with hands on and practical skills.
Kayleigh has recently spent time developing research from within the community/workplace regarding active commuting habits within a large nearby city. The cities diverse population and low levels of active commuting is a public health concern and so the research is likely to assist local councils, healthcare professionals, transport provider and health promoters.
