About Patrizia Ronchetti-Middleton
Patrizia is a part -time lecturer of Italian language at Leeds Beckett since 2005, where she gained her PGCHE. She is also an Associate Fellow of the HEA. She graduated in Perugia (Modern Foreign Languages) in 1996, with a degree in English and Anthropology. Her experience in Italy as a language tutor and journalist gave her the skills to interact with students and to find different tools to communicate efficiently. At Leeds Beckett, Patrizia has also been a speaker in workshops and the creator of a magazine called Andiamo! This project mixes her passion for journalism and Italian language. She also organizes events and workshops about Italian language.

Patrizia is currently developing a journalistic and teaching project that started here at Leeds Beckett University. She is also conducting research about the impact of writing in teaching a L2 to adult learners (Advanced / Proficiency).
