The awards are open to Leeds Beckett students and graduates, with winners receiving up to 50 hours of legal and accountancy support and mentoring for their businesses, whether new or established.

Previous winners include Leeds Beckett graduates Avi Chinn, Adam Yousuf and Tom Tracey, who set up domestic cleaning platform CityCleaner2U in 2017 with partner Luke Smetham.

Avi said: “Thanks to our Business Advantage Award, we now have 100 cleaners ready to be approved onto our platform and the final hurdle is ensuring everything is technically efficient.’

George Lancaster, University Business Centre Coordinator, said: “I have been involved with the awards since inception, it has been fantastic seeing the impact of the support for businesses such as CityCleaner2U and we are really looking forward to being able to help a new cohort of winners this year.”

To apply, complete an application by the deadline of Thursday 27 February 2020 here
