Find out when the university’s buildings, gyms and services will be closed during the Christmas break, and when you can expect them to reopen in January.

Library Services
Both Libraries will be open 24/7 throughout the Christmas break. Support will be available via phone and chat – see the contact us page for details.
The Advice Point closes on Saturday 21 December and will reopen on Sunday 5 January.
Student Services
The Student Advice Hubs on both campuses will close on Friday 20 December and will reopen on Monday 6 January.
Online Welcome / Enrolment Support
For students who started their course in January or February and need to re-enrol, our Online Welcome system will be open throughout the Christmas period for students to complete the enrolment process. We will send you an email when it’s time to re-enrol on your course.
Due to office closures, the welcome@leedsbeckett.ac.uk email address will not be available to respond from Friday 20 December 2019, the service will reopen again on 6 January 2020.
School Offices
The School (Course Administration) Offices on both campuses will close on Friday 20 December 2019 and will reopen again on Monday 6 January 2020.
The Student Wellbeing team
The Student Wellbeing team’s service will close on Friday 20 December and will reopen on Monday 6 January.
Registration will not be available during the Christmas break, so you are encouraged to check back on Monday 6 January, when you will be able to register and self-book your first appointment.
Kooth Student
If you need emotional wellbeing support during the Christmas break, you can access Kooth Student, an online counselling platform.

Mindwell
Additional support is available on Mindwell’s website, which includes useful resources including relaxation audio, self-help guides and help and guidance for dealing with a crisis.
Sport and Active Lifestyles
City Campus gym will close on Friday 20 December and will re-open on Monday 6 January as normal.
The Headingley Campus Sports Centre will be closing on Saturday 21 December and will be open as normal from Saturday 4 January.
Students’ Union
The Hive will close on Thursday 19 December and will re-open on Monday 6 January.
The Headingley Helpdesk and Advice Service will close on Thursday 19 December and will-reopen on Monday 13 January. The City Helpdesk and Advice Service will also close on Thursday 19 December, but will re-open on Monday 6 January.
