Andrew is an independent media producer working in video, motion graphics and 2D and 3D animation, and is an Adobe Certified Instructor for Adobe Première Pro and After Effects.
As a freelancer he spends much of his time training, both classroom and video for Première Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and Fusion as well other products such as Mocha, SpeedGrade, Audition etc.
Chris Kenworthy is a freelance copywriter for marketing projects, and former content manager. After six years collaborating on web-based projects for NHS Digital, and at creative new media agencies in Leeds, Chris became a self-employed writer in 2009. Before that he spent four years training users to take full control of their new websites, as a developer and technical analyst.
Chris now helps small to medium-sized, independent Yorkshire businesses communicate better with their audiences by putting readers first, and using clearer language. He has a bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Leeds University’s School of Computing, and has managed countless WordPress websites both professionally and personally for almost 10 years.
Dave is a digital designer with over 16 years experience helping digital/web agencies with heavy workloads and producing online solutions directly for clients.
Focusing on high-quality design and intelligent ideas, his skills cover a range of digital services, including brand consulting and identity work, web design, content marketing, reactive and real-time marketing, and ultimately anything that's delivered online.
He has designed websites for the likes of Disney, Nickelodeon, Guinness, BBC and many more. He's appeared in numerous industry magazines along the way such as Net Magazine, Web Designer and has even appeared in publications in Japan.
Gary Bradley is an Adobe Certified Instructor and an award winning graphic designer with over 17 years commercial experience working as a designer and Creative Director in digital print, animation, CGI and illustration.
Gary has led global projects in creative multimedia technology, art direction and management for prestigious brands such as Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, Nike, and Sainsbury's. His courses are designed to nurture and enhance your talent. He will take the knowledge that you have got and help you become more adept, more effective and more productive. He will share with you proven best practice techniques and little known short cuts that can and will save you hours - all delivered in a style and language that you can relate to.
An experienced digital marketing specialist and Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Heather Robinson has over a decade of experience developing marketing strategies for businesses large and small.
In 2012, Heather set up ‘Skittish’, a boutique digital marketing consultancy, working with a range of B2B and B2C clients in diverse sectors from non-profit and social enterprise to manufacturing and retail. Passionate about helping businesses achieve their goals and making digital marketing accessible to everyone, Heather is well placed to offer superior advice and expertise alongside hands-on, interactive training for business owners and marketing professionals to really get to grips with the fundamentals of search engine optimisation and promoting their business online.
Heather has a first-class degree in Marketing from the University of Leeds, a Certificate in Web Application Development and is currently studying part time for an MSc in Digital Marketing at Manchester Metropolitan University. Heather is also a published author of several books including ‘Essential Online Advertising’, ‘Search Engine Optimisation: The Basics’, ‘Easy Business Blogging’ and ‘Email Marketing Success’ aimed at small business owners taking on the challenge of promoting themselves.
Mike is a highly experienced designer, visual creative and software trainer. In addition to his training work he runs his own studio focused on digital imagery for advertising and marketing communication, serving clients in the UK, Europe and USA.
He has a broad and deep skill set across design, photographic based imagery, 3D CGI, video and motion graphics. Mike has over 15 years’ experience as a trainer and is an Adobe Certified Instructor in Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects. He is also an Adobe Video Specialist.
Richard is an award winning, BAFTA nominated creative technologist, whose work includes visual installations, social media, web and mobile applications such as games.
He has worked on a range of projects with digital agencies for clients such as The Beatles, BBC, Channel 4, Co-op, Taylors of Harrogate, Ecolab and The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
He also works directly on contracts with clients such as BBC R&D, National Media Museum, David Hockney Studio and Salts Mill.
Sarah is a sought after social media strategist and trainer, with over seven years’ commercial experience in media and marketing.
She has spent the last five years running her own social media training and consultancy business, working with an eclectic mix of clients; from SMEs, to entrepreneurs, digital agencies and HE institutions.
Her academic accolades include a first-class degree in Media Studies and a Masters in International Communication, in addition to working as an associate lecturer in social media at Leeds Beckett University and the University of Leeds for the past two years.
