DEAP Learning & Teaching Conference 2015: Engage & Exchange

The two day conference this year reflected the theme of student engagement and the spirit of exchanging experience within an academic community of practice.

Keynotes were delivered by Dr Dilly Fung of UCL, Dr Ian Turner from the University of Derby, and from Leeds Beckett, Professor Phil Cardew and Saffron Rose and John Goodwin from the Students' Union

The lunchtime Services Fair was extremely well received, over 30 stands, with staff available to answer any queries.

BECx Challenge

Four colleagues took on the challenge to deliver ten minute talks on their take on aspects of student engagement

DEAP Learning & Teaching Conference 2014: Transforming Students, Transforming Courses

Our keynote speakers this year were, Jonathan Worth, Rachel Wickasono, Andy Penaluna and Dr.Sue Rigby of Edinburgh University

Key Service areas delivered mini presentations to update staff on new and planned developments which might have an impact on courses/students

The Service Fair grew larger again this year, and was well received by staff who found it extremely useful
