Coaching and Mentoring
We can all benefit from taking time out to reflect on our current roles and responsibilities. As part of our commitment to you, we are able to offer one-to-one coaching support to you in your new role.
Coaching can be of particular benefit to those who would like to find time to reflect on their new challenges and opportunities and explore ways in which they may develop their own leadership style and approach. Our University has a network of internal workplace coaches who are able to offer coaching as a facilitative process.
Mentoring can provide timely and tailored support throughout a person’s career and in the short term can offer a supportive source of advice before, during and after key career transitions. As part of our commitment to you, we are able match you with an experienced short-term mentor to support to you in your new role. Mentoring can be of particular benefit to those who would like to find out more about others peoples experiences and key learning in their career. Mentors can provide an objective and confidential sounding board to help you look at the issues and challenges you may face, co-create possible strategies for action and avoid making common mistakes.
