Important changes to our Open Day

If you have registered to attend our Open Day on Saturday, we are very much looking forward to welcoming you.  However, we want to make you aware of some important changes to the day. You may be aware that some staff who are members of UCU, one of the national unions for lecturers, are currently taking part in industrial action.  As a result, there will be no staff available to give either subject talks or general information regarding the following subject areas:

Psychological Therapies & Mental Health courses:

  • MA Psychotherapy
  • MA Psychological Therapies
  • MSc Mental Health Practice 
  • PG Dip Counselling & Psychotherapy 
  • PG Cert Interpersonal & Counselling Skills
Social Work courses: 

  • MA Social Work 
  • PG Cert/PG/Dip/MA Advanced Social Work Practice
  • PG Cert Mental Health Practice
Youth & Community courses:

  • PG Dip Youth Work & Community Development
  • MA Community & Youth Studies
The various stands for these particular subject areas will be covered by faculty staff who will be happy to note any questions you may have and ensure they are answered after the event. 

In all other subject areas full activity will take place as planned.

Campus tours and information stands for accommodation, admissions, disability advice, distance learning, international office, library, employability and student money advice& fees are not affected and will be available to you.
