Responsible governance, leadership and education

This area includes academic staff within the Leadership, Governance and People Management Subject Group, whose research and teaching interests are focused on two main strands:

  1. Developing Leadership, Learning, Engagement, Equality & Wellbeing in Business, HRM and Higher Education
  2. Governance & Responsible Cultures for Sustainable Organisations

Within this theme the researchers have active partnerships with a range of professional bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD), the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the Institute of Directors (IoD) and ICSA, the Chartered Governance Institute (CGI).  For these groups the team are engaged in collaboration research and delivery of professional programmes for executives and directors.
