e4i4: Education for the 4th industrial revolution
In a world where graduate jobs are increasingly being pushed into the gig economy, with its lack of security and poor and inconsistent pay, Leeds Beckett is undertaking a major initiative to place our graduates above the gig economy.
The Centre for Education in the 4th Industrial Revolution is being led by Dr John Baruch, a visiting professor at both Leeds Beckett and China's top rated higher education institute, Tsinghua University in Beijing.
Dr Baruch recently outlined his ideas on the 4th Industrial Revolution at the House of Commons.
