Feel Good February is all about raising awareness for student and staff wellbeing and sharing positive ways in which you can improve your wellbeing whilst at university.
Leeds Beckett University will be offering a range of activities, wellbeing sessions, events and courses for you to try out and get involved with.
Many of our programmes are available to help you manage stress, improve your wellbeing and keep you active.
Evidence suggests there are five key ways to improving your mental wellbeing and building these small actions into your day-to-day life can make a big difference.

Being active is great for your physical health and fitness, and evidence shows it can also improve your mental wellbeing.
Find physical activities you enjoy and think about how to fit more of them into your daily life.

Most people would agree that giving to others is a good thing. But it can also do a lot of good for your own mental wellbeing.
Remember even the smallest acts can count to helping others and doing it as part of a group can help you make friends and feel a great sense of achievement.

Leeds Beckett offers many courses to help build your confidence and your skillset, from our Sport & Active Lifestyles couch to 5k lifestyle courses to learning about First Aid and sports coaching with the Carnegie Coach Education team.
