Sports Arena

Situated on the scenic Headingley Campus ‘The Arena’ opened in November 2012.

The facility has 512 individual seats all with excellent sight lines of the main court, and high quality lighting.

The Arena can be presented as two separate basketball courts, or it can be used in a single arena form to host and showcase elite level sport.

The facility has 6 FIBA specification basketball hoops.

Just metres away in our adjacent halls are two more full size courts with FIBA markings (see Blue Hall).

The Arena also has court markings for Netball, having hosted Yorkshire Jets home games, often televised on Sky Sports.

The venue is also available for hire for non-sport events.
