Leeds Beckett Basketball Club competes in BUCS leagues at different levels of ability. The club offers a rich community that caters for students who wish to compete at the highest levels as well as for students who are looking to develop their game.
The performance tiers train between 6-10 hours a week on court and have access to strength and conditioning sessions in addition to high level sports science in services the opportunity to compete and train rivals other domestic options.
The men’s 2nd and 3rd tiers and women’s program consistently train in season 4 - 6 hours a week as well as access to recreational basketball which includes 5 on 5 and the popular 3 x 3 format.
We also have a fantastic range of facilities for basketball including:
- Sports Arena - official basketball court
- Blue Hall - basketball nets and floor markings
- Green Hall – basketball nets and floor markings
- Gym 2 – basketball nets - no floor markings

Leeds Beckett University has a free Injury Clinic at our Headingley Campus - giving students the experience they need for massage and injury treatment under supervision from qualified staff (only available during term times)
