Lacrosse is frequently cited as the fastest sport on two feet, and has a rapidly expanding pool of student players, who take up the sport at University.
Originating from Native Americans, the team sport uses sticks to manoeuvre a small rubber ball between players in order to score past a goalkeeper.
The rules of mens' and womens' lacrosse vary greatly, with mens' seeing full contact and with that, a range of protective equipment, and womens' being semi-contact.

By joining Lacrosse, you will learn new skills individually as well as developing the ability to work well as part of team. In addition to this you will have the opportunity to be involved with lots of social events, providing the chance to meet people and make friends.
