About Ben Bolton-Grant
Ben is a Senior Lecturer and Speech and Language Therapist. He has extensive clinical experience working with children with a range of Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties, but has a particular interest in working with people who stammer.
Ben has lead a specialist team of SLTs working with people who stammer, as well as working as team leader for a mainstream paediatric SLT service, developing services to meet the needs of children and families in the area.
Ben currently works in partnership with the charity Action for Stammering Children delivering specialist support for teenagers who stammer from across the UK, and continues tow work clinically, with a small Independent Practice.
Ben currently teaches the following modules on BSc (Hons) Speech and Language Therapy:
- Clinical Phonetics and Phonology
- Speech and Language Pathology
- Clinical and Professional Skills
Ben's main research focus is concerned with developing effective interventions to reduce the problems faced by people who stammer.
