About Dan Hill
Dan qualified as a Solicitor in 1996, specialising in dispute resolution. He began his teaching career in 2000 at the University of Law, rising to be that University's Director of Educational Development and a member of the Academic Executive. He has worked since 2017 as a Consultant on Legal Education to a variety of institutions.
Dan’s interests centre on the development and delivery of innovative programmes of learning for all branches of the legal profession.
He has taught and mentored staff at the Institute for Legal Practice and Development in Rwanda, Africa and published widely on teaching and assessment both within the UK and internationally. He is also the co-author of the UK’s best selling textbook on mooting, Pope and Hill’s ‘Mooting and Advocacy Skills’.
