Research Interests"Kamal's research is focused in the area(s) of competitiveness, productivity, operations, projects, supply chain and strategy. He excels in qualitative research and considers 'people' to be more worthy than processes. His research argues that competitiveness (for example) is not a process that can be replicated in a flowchart. His work unpacks the challenges and difficulties that organisations face in being competitive and tries to examine the underlying issues in gaining a competitive advantage.
His research has both business and academic implications. Businesses can better understand their employees and help them identify career training needs."
