Hannah Rossmorris is a Senior Lecturer in Events Management at the UK Centre for Events Management. Her areas of interest are in event safety and event law. She has also undertaken consultancy work in safety and licensing for a range of clients in the events sector including the Tour de Yorkshire, Tour de France, Deer Shed festival, Parklife, the 2012 Olympics, Mint festival, Festival No6 and Kendal Calling festival. Hannah is currently working on her PhD which examines the interrelationship between youth culture, government policy and law. Specifically, this involves examining the interface between youth culture, the physical spaces where they consume music, and analysing the impact that regulation and legislation has had on the availability of these physical spaces. Analysis of licensing law and practice in the UK will be central to this research.
