Janine Lee

About Janine Lee

Janine is a Course Director for the BSc (Hons) adult nursing and BSc (Hons) mental health nursing. She is also a registered Nurse and Registered Nurse Tutor with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Janine has a background of practice with over 30 years experience in adult nursing over a variety of practice settings (including St James and Leeds General Infirmary) and posts including senior sister in vascular surgery, one of the first night nurse practitioners and clinical educator and advisor for the Surgical Directorate.

She has a teaching career at LBU spanning 14 years within the School of Health and Community Studies and is currently leading the curriculum development for new pre-registration courses based on the new NMC Standards (2018) which we anticipate being delivered in 2020 subject to approval.

Current Teaching

Janine is involved in teaching on the BSc (Hons) Adult nursing and BSc (Hons) mental health nursing courses.
