Jase Wilson
About
Jase Wilson is a PhD research student at Leeds Beckett University. Currently investigating high altitude mountaineering tourism in an attempt to make a connection with dark tourism theories.
He has a MSc in Sustainable Tourism Development from the University of Girona, Spain, and a Bachelor of Tourism Management from Capilano University in Vancouver, Canada. He has worked in tourism development in Vietnam and Nepal, and participated in indigenous tourism research projects.
Current Teaching
Jase will be teaching modules in the areas of responsible tourism.
Research Interests
Jase's PhD project is about high altitude mountaineering tourism, dark tourism, tourism and emotions, indigenous tourism.
