About Julian Creasey

Julian combines his role as a lecturer at Leeds Beckett with being a partner at Bromets LLP, a solicitor’s firm, in North Yorkshire. He is an expert in European and international trade law which he has taught around the world, including France, Germany, Vietnam and China.

Julian is an external examiner at two universities and during his career has been an examiner and external adviser at more than 12 other universities and institutions. He has been an Examiner for Resolution since 2000. He was a member of the Law Society European Committee for six years and has been on the Law Society’s Family Law Examination Board since 2002.

Research Interests

Julian is involved in ongoing research about the implications of Brexit for the UK, in relation to the World Trade Organisation treaties as agreements. He is also working on competence frameworks for the accreditation of family law practitioners.
