With a background in Retail Management with Marks and Spencer and 14 years of running her own training business, Lorraine brings pragmatism and experience to the groups that she works with as well as a sense of humour. Her focus is on the customer experience at all stages of the customer journey and she aims to exceed the customer’s expectations e.g. participants getting more from a workshop than they thought they would.
A qualified practitioner in the following psychometrics: Myers Briggs Type Indicator; Emotional Intelligence and Mental Toughness, Lorraine underpins her learning interventions with well researched models and theories making them relevant to the individual and their situation.
As part of the Leadership Centre in Leeds Business School Lorraine generates income for the University through engaging with Public, private and voluntary organisations nationally to deliver bespoke learning interventions and ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) programmes at all levels. Current clients include Sky Betting and Gaming, NE Lincolnshire County Council, Whitworths, WEA (Workers' Educational Association), Synthotech Ltd (Harrogate), Epiphany (Leeds) and Serco.
