It is important to recognise that you are a person as well as a manager; and you need to give yourself time and permission to consider your own wellbeing needs. There are two key benefits to this:
- If your wellbeing needs are met, you will feel happy and productive at work
- If your team see you role modelling positive wellbeing behaviours, they are more likely to do the same and feel happier at work
