A course should provide students with the opportunity to learn  in together to reflect the way in which students will work when they progress beyond the course and to build life skills.

Doing this will encourage them to listen and respond to other points of view. Collaborative learning can take place through group work or by asking students to provide peer feedback. Allowing students to work on broader activities and projects with students from other disciplines may be useful.
