At Lupton Fawcett we encourage and work very closely with many start-ups. We know how tough it can be in the early stages and we are keen to support the next generation of high-flying entrepreneurs and stars of the future. Testament to this is the fact we are a long-term partner of Leeds Beckett University and sponsors of its Business Advantage Awards; an annual competition giving five winners the chance to win free legal advice. We are also supporters and partners with the University in developing its Business Centres in Leeds, Halifax, Wakefield and beyond.Jonathan Oxley, Chairman at Lupton Fawcett
Our University Business Centres are supported by our key partners and trusted advisors.
We understand that all of our client businesses need to find legal, accountancy, and digital solutions when they are starting and growing their businesses. Our partners in these sectors provide regular free advice clinics and workshops on topics that are relevant to client businesses, including digital skills, legal issues, access to finance, growth and strategic business planning. They can help offer experienced advice in niche areas of business, allowing you to focus on running your business.
Our partners also support our events and the annual Business Advantage Awards, which have proved a hugely successful tool for providing tailored support to aid businesses based within our University Business Centres with their growth. The award runs annually with five winners receiving up to £6,000 worth of legal and accountancy support specific to their requirements. In the last five years over 25 businesses have benefited from the awards with many continuing to be supported by our partners.
