Antitrust law is one of the core commercial law topics affecting transnational business conduct and decision making. Examine the legal controls on anti-competitive agreements and abuse of market dominance by undertakings in the EU.
Explore the nature, purpose and regulations of the governance of the European internal market. You will study the interplay between European Union legislation and the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union relating to the free movement of goods and persons, the freedom of establishment and the provision and receipt of services. You will also define, analyse and apply legal and non-legal rules in the context of the law of the internal market of the European Union.
