Develop a strategic organisational perspective as well as a basis for progression and application of strategic level skills, competencies, and decision-making capability.
Enhance your understanding of how evaluating, managing and improving business processes in a range of settings drives the performance of an organisation.
Explore the role and responsibilities of the board and individual directors in terms of risk management. You'll study the people, processes and techniques that can be used to support the board in ensuring the effective assessment, monitoring and control of risk at all levels of an organisation. This module will introduce you to concepts, theories and models of risk in strategic decision making. You'll examine the elements, processes and techniques involved in the development and implementation of organisational strategy.
You will carry out an in-depth research project in a subject area that is appropriate to the course and of particular interest to you.
