What you'll learn

This module will introduce you to the fundamental concepts in researching, designing and implementing coherent, innovative user experiences with creative, visual or interactive technologies.
Identify the learning, software, workflows and practices you’ll apply within your individual technologies project. You'll lead your project development by articulating and identifying personal practice. Project and technical supervisors will provide support and guide your learning.
During this module, you'll reflect critically on your own development. You'll gain an enhanced understanding of the methods and skills required to carry out master’s level research.
Engage in an industry focused, work-based project to inform your current understanding of your individual and key specialism. You'll expand your learning and critical thinking within professional, work and industry contexts.
Use your findings or novel practice to evidence your individual skills development and application within a field of expertise. You'll produce portfolio content and will generate a body of artefacts and media to evaluate the effectiveness of the approaches and techniques you have applied.
Develop the skills to plan, initiate, execute, manage and sign off a project. You'll focus on appropriate methodologies, standards, legislation and the nine core knowledge areas associated with project management.
Explore a subject area of particular interest to you. During this 60-credit module, you'll carry out an in-depth research project which will be discussed in your formal dissertation.
