Develop the appropriate mathematical skills, knowledge and understanding to progress onto a wide range of undergraduate courses. You will focus on real world problem solving and understand the language and methods of maths used in a UK Higher Education setting.

Enhance the four language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking with a focus on research for an independent study related to your degree subject choice. You will learn to read critically and summarise, paraphrase, synthesise and reference when writing texts for academic purposes.

Develop an awareness of basic art and design practices in relation to the subject areas of art, architecture and design. You will explore elements of each of the subject groupings as well as identify and learn key terminology pertinent to the fields of art, architecture and design.
