What you'll learn

Develop academic English language competence in the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing to prepare for undergraduate study.
Develop the appropriate mathematical skills, knowledge and understanding to progress onto a wide range of undergraduate courses. You will focus on real world problem solving and understand the language and methods of maths used in a UK Higher Education setting.
Enhance the four language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking with a focus on research for an independent study related to your degree subject choice. You will learn to read critically and summarise, paraphrase, synthesise and reference when writing texts for academic purposes.
Develop an awareness and understanding of the principles of business and management, and the role of the business environment. You will identify key vocabulary and terminology, which will allow you to explore the diversity of business.
