What you'll learn

Gain key insights into the latest techniques and fundamentals of coaching and reflective practice to help you become an effective coach practitioner, one who can help your clients, team and colleagues grow and achieve their full potential. You will have the opportunity to explore a variety of concepts, theories and models that help you to develop systematic understanding and critical awareness of executive and business coaching within the context of practice. You will explore important coaching skills and techniques, for example deep listening, presence and using insightful questions that change personal perspectives and surface new alternatives.
Develop your coaching journey and gain deeper insight into the role of the coach as an enabler of organisation action, professional practice and the catalyst for cultural change. You will have the opportunity to explore and develop a critical reflective perspective of professional self and ethical coaching practice in a workplace context. This module will also help you to build greater understanding of the different roles and forms of specific coaching intervention that can be employed by the coach practitioner in the workplace. Your focus will be on critical reflection and gaining insight into the challenges and dilemmas faced by executive and business coaches, which will include gaining an appreciation of the range of diverse forces and inputs driving personal and organisational agenda.
This module will provide you with the space to take a more holistic approach to coaching and your role as practitioner. You will be challenged to take a deep and critical reflective perspective and appreciate and navigate a range of diverse forces and inputs that could impact on the development of your coaching career. You will be encouraged to apply reflective and reflexive practice techniques as well as working and sharing your inights with your peers in your community of coaching practice. The open individual and community peer method will see you gain greater insight into yourself as a coach. You will evaluate a range of personal development tools to support learning to take a more holistic and critical approach to evaluating your learning needs. Your peer coaching support and will provide motivation to help you plan and act to improve your own personal coaching practice and master your coaching career.
