By observing and exploring the external environment, strategists are able to identify how the hospitality industry needs to develop and prosper successfully through the 21st century.
Explore and evaluate theories, use case study examples and build knowledge of how hospitality businesses communicate, engender experiences and add value for their consumers.
Evaluate the breadth of operations management in a hospitality context, exploring current and future issues, evidence-based approaches to problem solving and the implications of managing operations across the business.
This module takes a critical approach to the management of human resources. It encourages you to be critical and questioning of concepts, theories and models of human resource management and to evaluate their usefulness and applicability to the international hospitality context.
Understand how to create, continuously evaluate and develop strategic approaches to ensure hospitality organisations benefit from disruption, complexity and uncertainty.
This module provides the opportunity to work with a hospitality industry partner to develop and deliver a live consultancy project focused on an issue of strategic significance.
Gain the knowledge, skills and techniques to develop your ability to conceive, plan and execute research and thus be able to successfully complete a major research project at masters level.
Produce a coherent and holistic piece of work on a major research project within your field of study.
