Our changing world
Our world is evolving at a dramatic rate. Globally, society is constantly facing new challenges to overcome. Humanity is questioning, deliberating, and sharing how to make a difference. TEDx Leeds Beckett University will evoke and inspire discussion about our changing world.
Brought together in the heart of Leeds, this event will influence positive conversation and challenge perceptions. We need to reflect on our present to create a prosperous future for the next generation to come. Our speakers will discuss how their research both makes an impact and has been impacted by the way the world is changing. TEDx Leeds Beckett University takes place on Wednesday 22 November 2023.

What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
Our event is called TEDx Leeds Beckett University, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDx Leeds Beckett University event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
