The Lake District is an extensive area of National Park covering 583,747 acres and home to England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike at an impressive 978m above sea level. The Snowdonia National Park in North Wales is most famous in the mountaineering world for Mount Snowdon which stands 1085m above sea level and is the highest point in Wales. Depending on your experience there are many routes that can be chosen to reach the summit of this impressive mountain but the end result is all the same, reaching the summit!
