International artists to speak at Leeds Beckett for lecture series
Five lectures have been organised as part of the Leeds School of Arts's INSIDE/OUT series, which offers comprehensive analyses of the arts and design.
The artists involved will have their work showcased at the first Yorkshire Sculpture International, a 100-day festival beginning in June that aims to cement Yorkshire’s position as the home of sculpture.
The first lecture in the series is due to be held on 6 March, with Phyllida Barlow, a ‘provocateur’ of the sculpture world, in conversation with leading art critic Louisa Buck.
Tarek Atoui, Tamar Harpaz and Nobuko Tsuchiya will all speak during March, before the series closes with AyÅŸe Erkmen’s talk on Wednesday 3 April.
For full details on the talks, you can visit the INSIDE/OUT lecture series landing page here.
