Mohamed studied our MA Film and Moving Image Production course (now MA Filmmaking) where he specialised in cinematography. It was during his time at Leeds Beckett that he directed his debut feature film 'Ahlaam' which was nominated for an Oscar.

As diabetes continues to be a public health priority, Leeds Metropolitan has launched the UK's first postgraduate course that specialises in advancing health care professionals' skills in how to best educate children and young people with diabetes.
