Open Days

Visit us for a Postgraduate Open Day

Our next Open Day is taking place on Tuesday 3 March.  It will offer you the opportunity to find out more about postgraduate study and discover why Leeds Beckett is the University for you.

What happens at a Postgraduate Open Day?

On Tuesday 3 March we are offering two options to help fit around your day. Drop into our Rose Bowl building at lunchtime or, if it's more convenient, you can visit us later in the afternoon.

Book your place

If you'd like to visit us for either of our two Open Day sessions, please book to register. We will contact you closer to the event with all the information you need about how to find us and where to go when you get here.

Drop-in Session Afternoon/Evening Session

Lunchtime Session (Drop-in) 11:30-14:00, Rose Bowl Level 1, City Campus

If you work in the city centre, call in and visit our Student Experience Exhibition on your lunch break. It's a quick and easy way to find out more about how we can help you in your career.

You'll find information stands for all our subject areas and you'll be able to speak directly to teaching teams who deliver our postgraduate and professional courses to find out more about what you could be studying.

Our support staff will also be on hand to answer any queries you have about fees and funding, the application process and the practical side of postgraduate study. You can take a tour of our City Campus led by Leeds Beckett students.

Afternoon/Evening Session 16:30-19:30, City and Headingley Campuses

Split across our City and Headingley Campuses, you can check the Open Day Guide below to find out which campus you need to visit for whichever course interests you.

You will have the opportunity to chat to our teaching teams about your chosen course (from 17:00), find out about fees and funding and the application process from our support teams and attend a Welcome Talk to discover more about life at Leeds Beckett.

Campus Tours guided by our current students will be taking place throughout the session and from 17:30 you can enjoy a range of course taster sessions, lectures and specialist facility tours.

Can't make our Open Day?

We realise that due to other commitments it's not always easy to attend. However, you can still join our mailing list to receive information about future events and other news and information from around our University.

You can explore our range of postgraduate and professional courses on our online prospectus or by ordering a printed prospectus for your chosen subject area.

I am interested in Postgraduate studies and would like to visit the University
If you would like to visit Leeds Beckett to learn more about postgraduate opportunities, then please register for our Open Day
Do you offer any Postgraduate only accommodation?
We do have quieter blocks for Postgraduate students - please request this on your application form and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
What qualifications do I need to study a Postgraduate course at Leeds Beckett?

For the majority of postgraduate courses we would require you to have an undergraduate degree, however the entry requirements vary from course to course. All entry requirements for our postgraduate courses can be found on our online prospectus.

When do I apply for a Postgraduate course?
For the majority of Postgraduate courses we do not have a set deadlines as there can be different start times throughout the year. Instead, we will continue to accept applications until the course is full. Therefore we would always recommend applying as early as possible.

Please be aware that some professional qualifications and postgraduate courses in the areas of Health and Education have an application deadline. If you have any questions about application deadlines, please get in contact with a member of the course enquiries team by emailing or by telephoning 0113 812 3113.
