Services we offer

Leeds Beckett University has developed an innovative and comprehensive programme of events for schools and colleges to raise awareness of higher education. Our activities range from talks and workshops held in school to interactive subject-based events hosted at our campuses in Leeds. Examples of our activities include:

  • Higher education experience days.
  • Residential events.
  • The Progression Module.
  • The Advantage Programme lecture series.
  • Student life talks.
  • Campus Tours.
  • A guide to student finance.
  • Applying to university and personal statement talks and workshops.
  • Talks for parents.
  • Drop-in sessions.

These events and activities are led by our expert staff and supported by our highly-trained Student Ambassadors, who provide invaluable insight into higher education, and Leeds Beckett University in particular, from a real-life student perspective.

  • Access & Widening Participation:
    The team offer an innovative and comprehensive programme of events for schools and colleges to raise aspirations and awareness of higher education. You can email the team at access@leedsbeckett.ac.uk, and the Access & Widening Participation team's Annual Review is now available to download.
  • Schools and Colleges Liaison Team:
