Leeds Beckett's purple patch
The city of Leeds has turned purple – our university colour – in honour of our graduating students.
Landmarks and iconic buildings around the city are lit up purple to mark Leeds Beckett Graduations 2019 being held at the first direct arena from 15 to 19 July.
Partners who have joined us and lit up purple for the week include: the Civic Hall, the Town Hall, the Merrion Centre, Leeds Bridge, Citipark car parks, the first direct arena, Arnold’s Restaurant, the platform roof in the city’s train station, Wellington Place lifting tower, Dark Arches near Granary Wharf, Inner Ring Road Tunnel, and Trinity Leeds.
Thank you to all of our partners and friends across the city for turning purple as we celebrate the success of our graduates.
