Research Interests

Amy’s research interests include domestic violence and abuse (DVA), as well as the intersection of DVA with other issues, including immigration status. In particular, she is interested in the police and wider criminal justice response to violence against women and girls, with a focus on the response to DVA. With high rates of attrition in this area Amy's focus is on the concept of 'justice' and what this means for victim's of DVA.
