Becky is Senior Lecturer and Course leader of the Post Graduate Diploma in Law and the Masters of the Laws of England and Wales. Having obtained her MA Cantab from Cambridge, Becky qualified as a practising solicitor in January 2000. She has worked in international commercial law firms abroad and in London and Leeds, specialising in commercial, insurance and negligence litigation. More recently she was a consultant to various Leeds Law firms and became a part-time lecturer with the Law School in 2016. In 2017 Becky became the School’s Pro Bono Manager and oversaw the establishment of the School’s Law Clinic at Queen Square and embedded as a module for third year students.

Becky teaches on the postgraduate LPC and GDL, together with undergraduate LLB modules and the Law Clinic.

Current Teaching

  • LPC - Module leader for Professional Conduct Regulation and module tutor for Property Law and Practice
  • GDL/LLM - course leader and module leader for contract law
  • LLB - module leader for the Law Clinic (level 6) and Commercial law (level 5) modules and module tutor on ELS (level 4)
