Volunteering abroad is amazing! It’s exciting, rewarding, exotic, chaotic, challenging, heart-breaking, heart-warming, mind-blowing and seriously good for your employability. Find out how you can apply to volunteer in one of a whole range of group volunteering trips in countries all round the world or access funding and support in finding your own volunteering experience overseas.
You can apply to join a team of staff and students working on community or environmental projects from 2 – 7 weeks. You’ll be accompanied by a team leader and have a project manager who stays in Leeds to make all the arrangements and trouble shoots any problems. We’ll organise flights, accommodation, insurance and pre-departure training and you need to fundraise your costs and a donation to the charity you’ll be working with as well as attending compulsory pre-departure meetings and events.
The Employability Partnerships Team aims to ensure a successful student experience, whilst also seeking to develop students personal and career skills. We achieve this through great relationships, exclusive opportunities and vast knowledge of employability.
