Leeds Beckett University is committed to providing a safe environment for our degree apprentices. We have a designated safeguarding lead, safeguarding officers and points of contact who play a part in raising awareness of the University's Safeguarding Policy which sets out how to identify and report safeguarding issues and how they will be managed.

The university offers a number of opportunities for individuals who want to pursue a degree apprenticeship. Our degree apprenticeships are developed with businesses to suit their organisational needs and the university is dedicated to providing a high quality of training for those apprentices.

The university sub-contracts work undertaken as part of the delivery of apprenticeships in the limited circumstances set out in our Degree Apprenticeship Sub-Contracting Policy.

Leeds Beckett University aims to provide educational and support services of the highest quality to our degree apprentices. We acknowledge that at times degree apprentices may be dissatisfied with aspects of its provision.

This complaints procedure sets out how complaints can be raised, and how they will be addressed.

If you feel that you have in some way been disadvantaged during your time as a degree apprentice and this is reflected in your results then you may have grounds for an academic appeal.

This induction handbook provides the key information you will need right at the start of your apprenticeship. It supplements your online apprentice handbook, your School induction and any introduction to your apprenticeship that your employer may provide.
