You can apply for any of our distance learning courses online through our application portal. Our application pages will take you through all of the steps involved.

We recommend exploring the different funding options available to you as early as possible, as some of the options can take a while to arrange. For more information on course fees and the different funding options available to you, visit our Fees and Funding pages:

Once you've accepted an offer and enrolled we will give you access to a range of resources to help familiarise yourself with the VLE and the online library. Your course team will also guide you through this system and direct you through the resources available.

Definitely, our current students come from all over the world, from Hong Kong to Canada. We even have some distance learning students who live in Leeds but prefer the flexibility of an online qualification.

Most courses don't have fixed application deadlines. If a course has a specific deadline it will be on the online prospectus. But, our courses are popular - they can fill up quickly. It's best to apply as early as possible.

Check the course details to see when it starts - most of our postgraduate courses have start dates in September and January.

Firstly, we will send you an email confirmation with your applicant ID number. In some cases we may request more information, or invite you to an interview. We'll contact you by email and you can review requests for information in your Applicant Portal account.

If we make you an offer, we will send you information about enrolment, your timetable, course contacts, and the support services available to you before the start of your course.
