Can't apply online?
If you're unable to apply online, you can contact our Student Admissions team. They'll be able to give you a printed application form and can answer any questions you may have about postgraduate study.

Postgraduate entry requirements
This varies from course to course. You'll find your course's specific entry requirements in the online prospectus.
Please check the entry requirements for your course when submitting your application to ensure you upload all the required information.
This could include:
- Degree certificate and academic transcripts, or details of your current study
- Evidence of English language proficiency
- A reference to support your application, either academic or professional. You can download a template via the link below
When to apply for a Master's
Most courses don't have fixed application deadlines. If a course has a specific deadline it will be on the online prospectus. But, our courses are popular - they can fill up quickly. It's best to apply as early as possible.
Check the course details to see when it starts - most of our postgraduate courses have start dates in September and January.
After you apply
We'll send you an email to confirm that we've received your application. This email will also contain your Applicant ID number.
We'll process your application as quickly as possible:
- You should expect a decision within six weeks
- If your course has a specific closing date, we'll normally wait until this date has passed
- In some cases, we may request more information, or invite you to an interview
We'll contact you by email and you can review requests for information and decisions on your application in your Applicant Portal account.
If you want to make changes to your application, like changing course, withdrawing, or deferring, please contact us on directadmissions@leedsbeckett.ac.uk
Types of offer you could receive
Conditional offer
If you have not met all of the entry requirements yet (you might be waiting to take exams or receive results) we may make you a conditional offer. This offer means we are happy to have you on the course, as long as you meet the conditions of your offer.
Unconditional offer
This means you definitely have a place on your chosen course. If you wish to accept our offer you will need to accept this through your Applicant Portal.
If we make you an offer, we will send you information about enrolment, your timetable, course contacts, and the support services available to you before the start of your course.

Online Welcome Service
Our welcome service will give you all the information you need prior to starting your course. We'll invite you to set up an account on this system when you have accepted your place with us.
