Facilitating collaboration between academics and policymakers to strengthen and advance the relationship between justice, law and policy.

The Centre for Justice, Law and Policy is home to a large community of academics from across Leeds Beckett University, uniting research, policy, and practice to deliver meaningful impact locally, nationally, and internationally. The centre focuses on three core research themes: societal challenges in rights and justice; legal technology and global law; and law, education, and practice. By placing end-users at the heart of our work, we facilitate interdisciplinary research that addresses real-world challenges and drives tangible change. JuLaP is committed to promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and acting as a conduit that connects minds, knowledge, and action.
