How to Apply
Once you have found a course on our online prospectus that you would like to apply for, click the 'Apply Now' button located towards the top of the course page. If you have already found a course that you would like to study, you can create an account on our Apply Online system and start your application now.
If you are unable to apply online, please contact our Student Admissions team for a printed application form. Our team will also be happy to answer any questions you may have about postgraduate study.
You can contact them on 0113 812 3113 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note, if you are applying for Teacher Training (PGCE), MA Social Work, PG Dip Legal Practice, PG Dip Law, or MA Art Psychotherapy, the application process can differ. Further details are available below:
This will vary from course to course. Visit our online prospectus to find out specific entry requirements for your course of interest.
The following information will usually be needed before we can make a decision on your application and is therefore useful to have ready before starting your application:
- Degree certificate and academic transcripts.
- Evidence of English language proficiency.
- A reference to support your application, either academic or professional, a template can be accessed here.
For the majority of our courses there are no fixed application deadlines. However, our courses are popular so it's in your interests to apply as early as possible. Check when your course starts on the online prospectus as many of our postgraduate courses have multiple start dates in September, January, April or May.
After You Submit Your Application
We'll send you an email confirmation with your unique reference number and will process your application as quickly as possible. You should expect a decision within six weeks of applying unless there is a closing date for the course you have applied for, in which case we will normally wait until this date has passed before considering all applications together. In some cases we may request more information, or invite you to an interview.
