A group of people on a Mera Peak trek

Mera Peak Trekking and Mountaineering Expedition – 26 days

Join us on this fantastic introductory trekking and mountaineering expedition to climb Mera Peak in the heart of the Himalayas. Led by expert UK leaders who will guide and support you every step of the way on this superb trek and during the ascent of the highest trekking peak in Nepal. The scenery throughout is spectacular, beginning in the foothills and trekking through local villages and once on the summit you can view a collection of the 8000 metre peaks included Everest, Kangchenjunga and the spectacular Makalu close by. This expedition starts in the Everest hub of Lukla but immediately leaves the crowds and takes you through the less trodden valleys offering solitude and escape. Although this is an introductory Himalayan Peak, we recommend that you have previous experience of mountain walking and trekking at high altitude as well as the basics of crampon work to give you the best chance of success.
